Competitor analysis

Since the site was optimized during its development, we immediately conducted a competitor analysis, skipping the site audit stage. It turned out that the niche is low-competitive, below are the data of the TOP 10 sites:

Number of links: 425
Number of queries by which they are ranked: 533
Average attendance: 975 visitors/month.

These statistics are calculated based on competitor sites of proctology clinics, excluding medical centers and general clinics. Based on the analysis of competitors, we noticed that most sites do not engage in marketing, so the main efforts were aimed at overtaking large regional clinics.

Keyword collection and clustering

This stage was carried out before the start of the site development, so it was possible to save the budget on further modifications of the site itself. The collection of the keyword list was carried out very carefully, and using many methods and tools. Among such tools, the following:

  • Key Collector;
  • Ahrefs;
  • SemRush;
  • Google Search Console.

Since a large number of tools were used during the work, we managed to collect the maximum number of search phrases:

  • +359 keywords;
  • +25 new keyword clusters;
  • Only commercial key queries selected.

n accordance with the semantic core, a copywriter's TT was created.

Website optimization

Since we include internal SEO optimization when developing any website, there were no edits or improvements at this stage. Below is a list of optimization work that was done during the site creation:

  • Created a sitemap.xml sitemap;
  • Configured a txt file;
  • Added micro-markup for the company and services;
  • Optimized the site loading speed;
  • Wrote and posted texts based on the semantic core;
  • Optimized the title and description meta tags;
  • Created a blog to attract the target audience by writing articles;
  • Configured canonical links rel=”canonical”.

A month after implementing all the points above, 80% of commercial keywords were in the TOP 10. Which later allowed us to save on link building.

Building a link profile

At the beginning of the work, an analysis of competitors and their link profile was made. During the analysis, it was found that competitors had a small number of links, on average - 33 donor domains.
Therefore, during the construction of the link profile, 23 links were placed, which allowed to get into the TOP 5 for most keywords. (p)

  • 25% links from forums;

UPD: After 2 years, after the work carried out, the site still ranks in the TOP 5 for all commercial keywords.
