modernized gym in Ternopil

01 Client

Plastylin is an ideal place for self-improvement and strengthening of your health. The gym is staffed by professional trainers who create effective training programs. And training on the latest equipment gives you strength and desire to come back again and again.

02 Goals and objectives

Create a business card website where you can post information about rates, contact information and a few photos. In addition, create a small CRM system for customer records
  1. The site should consist of sections: our services, monthly subscriptions, contacts
  2. The main functionality for CRM is the ability to record customers and view detailed information on each, as well as remind customers about the end of the subscription. Create other features based on the budget)
  3. The site and CRM should be well displayed and work on different devices and platforms
  4. Send from all forms of the site to Telegram, since I rarely use mail
  5. Do internal SEO optimization of the site, since after development I plan to promote it in Ternopil

03 Decision

To save time and money, it was decided to develop a business card site on the MODX CMS system, and for the CRM system we used VUE + Python. After analyzing the sites of direct competitors, we suggested expanding the site a little in terms of pages.

This was done primarily for the future SEO-promotion of the site.

Website design

The site design was developed according to the client's corporate style. We also received a vision for the site structure from the client. After that, our marketers made small adjustments and handed over the terms of reference to us. Based on it, we began to create the site design

Website development and CRM

While the design for the site was being developed, we started developing the CRM system so that the entire project could be delivered at the same time.

Working on CRM

First of all, we implemented the authorization feature to protect user data. We didn't make the registration feature available, but we made it possible for the superuser to create accounts for different administrators.

After that, we started working on adding a new client. This form included the following mandatory fields: full name, phone number, and subscription (depending on the subscription selected, the expiration date changed automatically, but if the client immediately purchased a specific subscription for a long period, the date could be set manually)

After completing and testing the functionality, we displayed all clients in a table format. The table implemented the ability to search, pagination, go to the client details page, and delete a client from the database. In addition, we implemented row highlighting, where clients whose subscription will expire in 3 days were marked in red, and those whose subscription will expire in 10 days were marked in orange. For such clients, messages were sent to Telegram/SMS with a reminder to purchase a subscription

Next, we implemented the deletion of the client from the database and started working on the page of one client. On the page of one client, we implemented the ability to edit all available information and add new monthly subscriptions to him. We also made it possible to view the history of subscription orders, and for certain subscriptions, to choose on which days the client went to the gym (since some subscriptions do not provide unlimited visits)

Website work

After completing all the CRM work, we immediately started working on the website. We made an adaptive, multi-browser and multi-platform layout and pulled all the site pages onto the MODX CMS.

Working with media content

To view/enlarge media content (photos/videos), we used the Fancybox library.

Working with Google Map API

The Google Map API was used to style the map and marker. The admin panel provided the ability to create new markers.

Synchronization of applications

We synchronized subscription orders with CRM. Users who ordered subscriptions on the site were marked “not paid” in CRM. In addition, we synchronized all site requests with the Telegram bot.

Order a subscription

In the photo below, you can see how a subscription order is processed from the user's side, and what his order looks like in the administrator's CRM system.

Working with forms

In all forms on the site, we have implemented protection against spam and competitors who are not playing fair.

Working with the admin

When creating a convenient admin panel for the content manager, it was decided to use "additional fields" as well as the MIGx add-on. This add-on was used to work with subscriptions and a photo gallery.

Telegram API integration

For the convenience of processing applications from the site, an author's add-on was also developed for sending data from forms to Telegram. Which in turn speeds up the processing time of business clients from the manager or administrator's side.

05 Result

The website and CRM system are now fully completed. We tested all their functionality, from the users and administrators' side. We created content for the website and filled it with information. Our team also took care of internal SEO optimization and optimized the website loading speed. After that, the project was transferred to the SEO department for promotion.
